Henry Giles was born in England in 1847. He lived a number of years in the United States, Canada, and Australia. In 1902 he returned to England and settled in London. In 1910 he published "The Story of a Life," a book that took seven years to complete
He then wrote "The Autobiography of Henry Giles," which was published in 1923. In 1929 he completed his autobiography, "Henry Giles: An Autobiography."
